What you'll be doing
As an Allied Health Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of therapy and care services under the supervision of qualified Allied Health Professionals. Your work will help clients maintain independence, improve wellbeing, and receive dignified end-of-life care.
Assist in delivering individual and group therapy programs
Support older clients and those requiring palliative care
Perform administrative tasks to enhance service efficiency
Maintain therapy equipment and resources
Mentor students and contribute to a learning culture

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Minimum Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance/relevant qualification or higher
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated understanding of the health and associated care needs for people with complex, chronic and/or aged conditions residing in the community.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload delegated by supervising allied health professional/s, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice, seeking assistance as required.
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with families from different psychosocial, socio economic or culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated computer literacy skills with ability to use electronic medical records, Microsoft Office and email applications.
Current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
