- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in Radiation Oncology and are eligible for student membership to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). Candidates applying for a first-year training position must also submit a valid RANZCR College Registration Verification Number (CRVN) as part of their application.
- Demonstrated communication skills providing clear direction to peers, recording accurate and legible clinical records, discussing medical information, breaking bad news with patients and their families.
- Able to make sound decisions in accordance with level of experience and awareness of limitations.
- Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgement and patient advocacy.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes other medical staff, allied health, nursing and administrative staff, to ensure the appropriate management of patients.
- Preparedness to move between services and geographical locations (within the Network) in the delivery of patient care and participate in overtime and on-call rosters as required.
