About the team
You will join a supportive team of 8 administration staff, working alongside radiographers and multidisciplinary health professionals. Our team is committed to providing excellent customer service and compassionate support to patients, carers and clinical staff across the Tamworth region.
About the role
This casual position operates across a 7-day roster, with shifts between 7:30 am and 9:00 pm.
As part of the role, you will:
- Assist with the management and scheduling of surgical waitlists in accordance with NSW Health and HNELHD policies.
- Support the timely scheduling of elective surgery and patient admissions.
- Communicate effectively with treating specialists, healthcare providers and patients.
- Assist with planning and prioritising surgical waiting lists at least three months in advance.
- Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
- Maintain accurate information and undertake reporting using FORT and IPM.
- Establish positive working relationships with staff across all levels.
- Provide general administrative and operational support as required.

- Confident using initiative while working within established policies and procedures.

Relevant administrative qualifications and/or equivalent experience
