Join the Clinical Information team at Manning Base Hospital and play an important role in supporting the delivery of quality healthcare. Our team is responsible for accurately scanning paper-based clinical documentation into the Digital Medical Record (DMR), ensuring patient information is accessible, secure and maintained to the highest standard. Every document you process contributes to better continuity of care for our patients.

 

About the Role

As an Administration Officer within Clinical Information Services, you'll work as part of a dedicated team providing high-quality administrative and customer service support. Your role will focus on accurately scanning and managing patient documentation within the Digital Medical Record, while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.

This position includes weekday and weekend rostered shifts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Scanning and uploading patient documentation into the Digital Medical Record with a high level of accuracy.
  • Providing professional customer service to patients, visitors and staff via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
  • Managing email enquiries and maintaining accurate patient information and documentation.
  • Using electronic medical record systems and other computer applications to complete administrative tasks.
  • Providing administrative support including ordering, invoicing and maintaining filing systems.
  • Prioritising competing tasks while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to support efficient service delivery.

You're a reliable and adaptable administration professional who enjoys working in a team and takes pride in producing accurate work. You understand the importance of confidentiality when handling patient information and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.
