What your day-to-day will look like:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for a range of administrative and customer service tasks, including:
- Greeting patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
- Scheduling appointments for Moree and Inverell using computerised radiology and patient information management systems.
- Liaising with technical staff to ensure accurate and appropriate bookings.
- Managing urgent and emergency bookings as required.
- Handling reception duties in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Responding to phone, email, and in-person enquiries with professionalism and care.
- Navigating multiple computer-based systems efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth, patient-centred care.
About the service:
The Imaging Department is located within the newly developed Inverell Health Service campus. You'll be part of a small team of 2–3 staff members, working collaboratively as part of the broader healthcare teams supporting the Moree and Inverell communities.
