We are very excited to announce that applications are now open for internship roles targeted specifically for Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people for the eHealth NSW and Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA) 2026 Internship Program

 

 

  • Employment Type: Full Time or Part Time Exempt (dependent on availability) for up to 12 months

  • Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 4

  • Remuneration: $36.45 - $37.29 per hour + 12% super

  • Hours Per Week: 24 – 38 hours per week

About the Opportunity

As an Intern within eHealth NSW and SDPRIA, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact on the future of healthcare by supporting key digital health initiatives. Your contributions will help improve patient outcomes, enhance system performance, and strengthen the digital capabilities of NSW Health.

 

This internship offers hands-on experience as part of a dynamic team working on high-value projects that drive digital transformation across the health system.

 

Depending on your experience, you may be involved in one or more of the following areas:

  • Clinical and customer engagement

  • Cyber and information security
  • Data and analytics

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has recently graduated or in your last year of study towards a degree or diploma in business, commerce, communications, or a health-related discipline.

  • Has a genuine interest and passion for technology, people and processes is also advantageous.

  • Is available to work a minimum of 3 days up to 5 full business days (based on your availability) for the duration of your internship.

  • This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

  • To be eligible for this role you must have current Australian work rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen with a current passport, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia).

  • 'Exempt' is defined as a fixed term contract with a length greater than 13 weeks.
