Selection Criteria
- Experience (> 2 years) as a Business Analyst working in large, complex multi-disciplinary organisation with numerous stakeholders to engage ranging from front line clinical staff, community-based clinicians, finance/revenue staff, IT staff and/or Health Executives.
- Experience (> 2 years) collating business requirements and translating them into functional and non-functional requirements for custom operational systems.
- High level of documentation skills with extensive experience developing Business Requirements Definition, User Stories, Functional Design Specifications, Process Maps, current state and future state gap analysis, Change Impact Assessments and Data Dictionaries.
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills with the ability to facilitate interviews, small focus groups and large working parties with sometimes challenging stakeholders.
- Experience (> 2 years) analysing complex datasets, performing root cause analysis and providing solutions to complex business and/or technical challenges.
- Extensive experience (> 5 years) in using Microsoft technologies in particular Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Azure machine learning/artificial intelligence pipelines (desired), Azure Health Data Service stack (desired), PowerBI (desired), PowerPages (desired) and SQL Server (desired).
- Experience (>2 years) in using Confluence for documenting business requirements and solution design.
- Relevant educational background including a Bachelor degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

- This is a temporary role up to 24 months.
