What you'll be doing
As Senior Pharmacist, you’ll deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for CF and bronchiectasis patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. You’ll also lead research initiatives and ensure safe, effective medication management.
Provide expert medication reviews, education, and adherence support
Participate in clinics, ward rounds, and multidisciplinary meetings
Coordinate home IV antibiotic therapy and clinical trial medications
Drive quality assurance, research, and continuous improvement
Mentor and support pharmacists and students in clinical training

Essential Requirements
Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g Bachelor of Pharmacy. Must satisfy Grade 3 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award.
Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated extensive experience in clinical pharmacy practice in the hospital setting.
Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice and in respiratory medicine.
Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to effect practice change.
Demonstrated ability and experience in patient and staff education.
Demonstrated experience in research and quality improvement activities including pharmaceutical clinical trials.
Willing to work on weekends, on-call as per departmental rosters.
