About the Opportunity
As the People and Culture Manager at eHealth NSW, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by driving meaningful people and culture outcomes. This is a leadership role that combines strategic thinking, critical problem solving, and business acumen to deliver high-impact results. Acting as an account manager for senior executives, you will provide holistic, strategic solutions and lead a team to achieve organisational goals. within a designated portfolio.
You’ll bring a deep understanding of business operations, strong people and culture expertise, and the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders. The role will be responsible for building a new stream to to elevate HR Business Partner functions embed new ways of working, moving beyond delivery to actively manage strategy and lead change across the organisation. This role may also provide support to other NSW Health entities in the future.
In this role, you will:
- Lead strategic workforce planning, and succession initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
- Apply critical thinking and strategic problem-solving to complex challenges, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Act as a trusted account manager for Chief Executives, Executive Directors and Senior Directors, delivering tailored, strategic advice.
- Analyse people data to deliver actionable insights that enhance performance and optimise talent outcomes.
- Guide leaders and employees on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance and fostering a fair, inclusive workplace.
- Champion career development, wellbeing programs, and engagement initiatives that strengthen organisational culture.
- Implement change management strategies, HR policies, and safety practices to support growth and compliance.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business, human resources management, organisational development, psychology, or possess extensive experience in People and Culture functions.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in coaching and partnering with business units, delivering strategic advice across workforce planning, talent acquisition, organisational development, learning and development, and industrial relations within a complex service delivery environment.
- Apply strong analytical skills to leverage HR data for insights and recommendations, combined with business acumen to understand organisational objectives and challenges.
- Exhibit highly developed communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships that drive optimal business outcomes.
- Balance competing priorities and deliver both strategic and operational outcomes in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
