About the Opportunity

The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing specialist Palliative nursing care to patients and clients of the health serviceYour role is vital in ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for every individual in our care. In this role you will:

  • Facilitate & implement best practice nursing care within a diverse and changing environment.

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients with palliative and end-of-life needs

  • Contribute to care planning, coordination and evaluation with a focus on dignity and comfort.

  • Participate in education, debriefing and professional development opportunities that support both clinical and emotional wellbeing.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

  • Extensive experience in a clinical setting relevant to Palliative Care.

  • Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated skills to work effectively and collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.

  • Empathy, emotional intelligence and a team-first mindset.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
