If you’re an experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in dynamic settings and wants to make a meaningful impact, Wyong ED offers the support, development and teamwork to help you grow.
What does Safe Staffing Mean for You?
The NSW Government is rolling out minimum nurse-to-patient ratios across Emergency Departments, ensuring safer, more sustainable workloads for nurses and better care for patients. For you, that means:
Improved ratios
Manageable ratios
More time to care for your patients
Time to provide advanced clinical care to patients
Safe staffing means having the right number and skill mix of staff so that every patient receives safe, timely, and appropriate care. It allows nurses to prioritise effectively, recognise deterioration, communicate clearly, and maintain high standards of practice without compromising staff wellbeing or patient outcomes.
