Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: Masters or Doctoral degree in Forensic or Clinical Psychology
- Registration: Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
Selection Criteria:
- Masters degree in clinical psychology or forensic psychology and full registration with AHPRA
- Experience administering comprehensive assessments and designing targeted treatment plans for substance use issues and/or co-morbid mental health problems
- Demonstrated skills in providing evidence based psychological treatment for substance use issues and/or co-morbid mental health problems
- Ability to work in court based programs with clients who have engaged in offending behaviour
- Proven high quality written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience or exposure to crisis and risk situations and challenging client behaviours
- An understanding of the the array of psychosocial issues that contribute to substance use problems and capacity to take a holistic approach to treatment
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
