Essential Criteria
Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)

Selection Criteria
- 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialtyfield
- Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD
- Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Extensive understanding of speciality disorders, specifically in areas of Insulin pumps/CGM’s, Type 1 diabetes and Diabetes in pregnancy, and their current management
- Extensive knowledge of good clinical practice, policies and procedure
- Proven ability to consult, review, and develop, both new and existing policies and procedures within the relevant speciality
- Computer skills including word processing, presentation, spread sheet applications and clinical information systems
