Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Registration: Full registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA and endorsement in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology, or eligibility to progress to endorsement through the registrar program.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in Neuropsychological assessment, formulation and treatment with young people and their families/carers with emotional and behavioural issues.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to build therapeutic relationships.
- Capacity to provide a therapeutic group program to young people and their families
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and with other service providers to achieve optimal outcomes for young people and their families.
- Experience working in mental health and, desirably, a knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
- A working knowledge of current Child Protection procedures.
- .Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
