Remuneration: $65,024 - $70,655 per annum / $32.79 - $35.63 per hour  (+ 12% Superannuation)
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

Our Ward is a:

• Specialised vascular ward providing comprehensive care for a wide range of vascular conditions.

• Principal referral unit serving Western Sydney with advanced treatment options.

• Multidisciplinary team of vascular surgeons, nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, and discharge planners.

• Holistic, patient-centred approach to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes.

What you'll be doing

As an Enrolled Nurse joining our team means you will be delivering nursing care within the Integrated Care Program, you will be working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

As a part of your responsibilities you will:

• Provide nursing care as part of the Integrated Care Program.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team.

• Operate under direction and supervision of Registered Nurse.

• Support patient-centred care and best clinical practice.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualification: Enrolled Nurse

• Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, AHPRA, as an Enrolled Nurse  

Selection Criteria:

1. Current enrolment with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, APHRA, as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2.

2. Demonstrated recent experience in diabetes management in the acute hospital setting

3. Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team environment with a focus on delivering organised and prioritised care, in order to achieve the most effective and efficient outcomes for the patient.

4. Proven effective and open communication skills, both written and verbal, that build greater cooperation and confidence in care delivery.

5. Demonstrated ability to ensure patients, carers, and families are well informed, engaged and confident about their care and treatment, within the scope of an enrolled nurse.

6. Demonstrate critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and escalation, whilst effectively follow directions.

7. Proven commitment to continuing professional development.
