- Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or equivalent.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care, lead teams and ensure patient safety in a regional health context.
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management, safety systems and NSQHS standards in maternity care.
- Demonstrated commitment to the training, supervision and mentoring of junior doctors and medical students.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills across clinical disciplines.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead service planning, manage change and deliver on performance and accreditation requirements.
- Understanding and application of NSW Health CORE values, Code of Conduct and relevant NSW Health policies
