Registered Nurse – Coronary Care and Stroke Unit
Orange Health Service

About the role

Exciting opportunities are available for Registered Nurses to work in the Coronary Care and Stroke Unit at Orange Health Service. Our single goal is provide a service that builds 'healthier people and thriving communities', and in this role, you will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, working to support the team and provide quality care for patients within the Unit.

In this supportive team you will be well supported and your dedication will be seen and appreciated. You will be an integral member of the Surgical Ward and you’ll see not only the results of your care, but the appreciation of the patients and their families, for the role you play in their health and recovery journey.

Home to nearly 70,000 people, the Orange Region is a unique appealing blend of a vibrant regional city, historic villages and energetic towns.

The region’s unique mineral resources, productive agriculture and industry, rich history, abundant natural resources, scenic landscapes and established infrastructure, present unique career and lifestyle opportunities.

The affordability of housing in Orange is one of the most talked about lifestyle benefits that inspires people to make the move. Whether you want a Californian bungalow in the centre of the city, a modern large mansion or a rural property with spectacular views and room for a horse, Orange has it all. Into the bargain, it’s usually at least half the price of what you would expect to pay for the equivalent dwelling in a similar location in Sydney.

There are schools around the corner, and it’s just a five minute drive between jazz class, the supermarket and the gym. A commute to work so short you can sit in a local cafe and have a fresh, locally roasted coffee before arriving at work – no rushing from platform to street, just easy, stress free living.

Orange offers families the chance to reconnect with each other – to find the time to talk and sit together at the end of the day. You can work hard, but still have the time to sit down at the dinner table and have the chance to laugh and regroup with your family and friends.

Orange offers you a better way of life. Continue to learn with education facilities for all ages that are second to none, cycle, sport, gym - there’s a club for everything and its members are so welcoming to those, like them, have chosen to make Orange their home.

Gourmet food and wine more your thing? Orange is one of Australia’s best wine districts, and this, in tandem with the continuing development of Orange’s already highly regarded restaurant and cafe culture, has bolstered the city’s reputation and the region’s growing status as the ‘food capital’.

Or perhaps you’re into the arts? Considered an arts and culture hub, Orange has a true love of cultural, theatrical and musical events. Attracting local, national and international artists, you’ll also enjoy these in performance venues to rival those in capital cities.

Orange. It’s just a fabulous place to live.
