Are you a motivated and dynamic person with high level administrative experience to join and lead our compassionate and caring administrative team? 

 

As a leader, you will be providing a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Community Mental Health Service team to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

 

The Administration Supervisor is to provide direct line management of the administrative staff of the Community Mental Health Centres, Child Psychiatry and Adolescent Psychiatry. Management of staff includes work allocation, staff appraisals and staff development. 

 

The position is to coordinate administrative systems, procedures and staff to enable the clinical staff of the Community Mental Health Centres, Child Psychiatry and Adolescent Psychiatry services to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. The role is also to provide high level of administrative and secretarial support to the Community Service Manager.

Where you'll be working

Community Mental Health, Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service located on the Prince of Wales Hospital campus, Randwick.  

Travel to other ESMHS sites in SESLHD may be required

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.

 

  1. Demonstrated experience in providing a wide range of high level administrative services in a demanding environment.
  2. Demonstrated ability to write accurate and concise reports, documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail.
  3. High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently using initiative and judgement to solve problems.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to work as part of a team in providing quality service and quality improvement initiatives.
  6. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and standard office software packages and the ability to learn new systems as require.
  7. Demonstrated experience in supervising and supporting an effective team with the ability to determine priorities for others, allocate tasks, coach and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
