To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Sound knowledge of NSW Health waitlist management, auditing and patient admission procedures with previous experience in the scheduling of surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in staff management with an ability to lead team performance to achieve service goals and excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate with Medical Staff, Hospital Executive and patients and carers.
- Demonstrated computer database skills and proven intermediate experience with Microsoft office Suite, Patient Administration System and Electronic Medical Record or ability to rapidly learn.
- Advanced knowledge in Medical Terminology and Experience and a knowledge of surgical procedures.
- Experience with current Department and Local Health Service Strategies to achieve and maintain the elective surgery Key Performance Targets.
- Knowledge of NSW Health waitlist management auditing and patient admission procedures.
- Proven experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment and under minimal supervision.
