To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Good understanding of Infection Prevention and Control and WH&S requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an integral team member under the supervision and guidance of a Staff Supervisor.
- Willing to develop professionally, accept constructive criticism and competency assessment for tasks performed as a Sterilisation Technician.
- Ability to work in a busy environment with changing priorities.
- Commitment to providing a quality customer service by ensuring a focused approach for best practice and patient outcomes.
- Sound communication ability with a high standard of written and verbal skills to ensure effective listening, understanding and following direction.
- Basic computer skills with ability to learn electronic tracking and Health related programs.
- On completion of training and competency assessment, ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays for the provision of a 7 day service to the Peri-Operative Services Department.
