About The Opportunity
South Western Sydney Local Health District is currently seeking a Senior Network Support Officer to compliment the Data Network Team in supporting a large complex ICT data networking environment.
You will be part of the Digital Health team, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the networks are maintained, protected from cyber risks, and play a crucial role in ICT Project implementations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong data networking management skills, while focused on Cyber Security awareness and have a detailed understanding of project management principles.

What You'll Be Doing
Provide tertiary level support to network operators, analysts and other support staff. Provide network design and configuration for new projects and upgrades. Day to day support of the LHD data network and assessment and design/upgrade of new/existing network infrastructure.

- Relevant qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing an extensive multivendor multisite Data Communications Network (LAN & WAN) including VoIP systems
- Experience with design, installation and configuration of Ethernet based firewalls, routers, hubs and switches.
- Experience with project managing network related projects.
- Demonstrated experience in Network troubleshooting and analysis tools.
- Do you have a current Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)? if you hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
