You will play an important part in early identification and de escalation of conflict, responding to anti social behaviour, and working collaboratively with clinical and nonclinical teams. With a strong focus on customer service, professionalism, and adherence to work health and safety legislation, you’ll be helping ensure a positive and safe experience for all who come through our doors.   • Calm under pressure – Remaining composed, professional, and solution focused during high stress or rapidly changing situations.

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Do you have a current NSW Security Licence in accordance with the NSW Security Industry 1997 Class 1A? Please attach a copy of your licence with your application
  • Do you have a current First Aid Certification? Please attach a copy of your certificate with your application
  • Do you have a current Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)? if you hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
  • Describe a time you used effective verbal communication to manage an escalating situation in a hospital or similar high-pressure setting
