Bankstown Hospital is seeking dedicated and reliable Registered Nurses to join our dynamic teams in the 3A Upper GI General Surgery and Colorectal/General Surgery wards. Our wards offer a stimulating environment where you will have the chance to work across six major specialties, supported by an on-site educator who provides specialised training programs. With a strong focus on continuous professional development, you’ll gain access to valuable learning resources and enjoy the guidance of Clinical Nurse Consultants who offer regular in-services to share their knowledge.

 

In addition to the wide variety of in-ward experiences, our nurses also have the opportunity to expand their scope by participating in outpatient clinics, adding to their clinical expertise. This versatile role is ideal for nurses looking to broaden their skills, gain exposure to a diverse range of patient care areas, and make a meaningful impact. What You'll be Doing
The Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

 

Where You'll Be Working 
Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.

The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital.
