Are You the Right Fit?
This role is ideal for an experienced Paediatric Registered Nurse who brings a broad skill set across a variety of paediatric procedures and thrives in a dynamic clinical environment. Experience in a Special Care Nursery is highly desirable, as the position includes providing immediate care to neonates and supporting their families from the very beginning. CVAD accreditation is an advantage, helping you contribute to high‑quality, specialised care. With a rotating roster, you’ll be part of a team that values flexibility, teamwork, and a shared commitment to exceptional paediatric nursing.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Please outline your recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant specialty, including any experience in special care nursery environment
3. Please demonstrate your ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.
4. Please give an example of your use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care.
