Join our specialised Apheresis Service and play a vital role in delivering life-changing treatments while developing expertise in a highly skilled and rewarding area of nursing practice.
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to inpatients and outpatients undergoing specialised procedures including TPE, Red Cell Exchange, stem cell collections and CAR-T related therapies.
- Provide specialised treatment through the performance of venepuncture, venesection and apheresis procedures.
- Work closely with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes and patient experience.

You are a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a specialised clinical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. - Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute healthcare setting, with an interest in Apheresis procedures and Haematology nursing.
- Proven skills in cannulation, venepuncture, fistula care and Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) management.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to safely perform complex clinical procedures and monitor patients throughout their treatment journey.
- A collaborative team player who communicates effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
- Flexible and dependable, with the ability and willingness to participate in an on-call roster and respond to emergency procedures when required.
Selection Criteria

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience working in an acute care setting with an interest in Apheresis procedures and Haematology nursing.
Demonstrated cannulation, venepuncture, fistulas and Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) competency.
