About the Opportunity
Campbelltown Hospital have an exciting part-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Anaesthetics and Recovery team at Campbelltown Operating Theatre. This 2-year maternity relief position offers the chance to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. You’ll work on a 7-day rotating roster, providing evidence-based and culturally appropriate care that places patients and their families at the centre of everything we do.
In this role, you will take accountability for your clinical practice, critically assess and evaluate patient care, and communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues to ensure compassionate, person-centred outcomes. You’ll actively contribute to teaching and mentoring others while upholding professional standards and NSW Health values. The position requires at least six months’ experience in anaesthetics or recovery and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse, General with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Preferred 6 month minimum experience in anaesthetics or recovery and/or preferred minimum year 2 post nursing registration with AHPRA. Please outline your experiences in an anaesthetics or recovery setting.
- Please provide an example of when you have provided safe, compassionate and quality care that is culturally responsive in line with NSW Health CORE Values.
Please describe a time when you worked closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve a positive patient outcome.
