Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
2. Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Midwife in an environment appropriate to the relevant specialty
3. Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive
4. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, families, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
5. Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
6. Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based midwifery care
7. Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
