Liverpool Hospital is looking for a highly motivated and suitably qualified registered midwife interested in a secondment relief opportunity as a Registered Midwife in Antenatal Assessment Unit.

The successful applicant will:
- The successful applicant will be Registered Midwife who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, woman-centred care within the Antenatal Assessment Unit at Liverpool Hospital.
- You will work collaboratively with the maternity team, multidisciplinary clinicians to deliver evidence-based care that meets the diverse needs of women and their families.
- In this role, you will actively contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will ensure practice is aligned with NSW Health standards, local policies, and contemporary best practice.
- We are seeking a midwife who demonstrates strong clinical capability, effective communication skills, and a commitment to professional development, quality improvement, and positive patient experiences. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving outcomes for women and families within a busy tertiary maternity service.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a post graduate qualification in Midwifery or relevant clinical field, or equivalent work experience.

- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of advanced evidenced based midwifery care
