The service operates 7 days per week, and the successful applicant will work 24 hours per week across a rotational roster, including weekend shifts as required.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Midwife to join our Antenatal and Postnatal Service. This role provides high-quality, evidence-based, woman-centred care and support to women, babies and families throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Registered Midwife will provide comprehensive assessment, education, care coordination and clinical support to promote positive health outcomes and enhance the experience of women and their families during their maternity journey.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and compassionate Registered Midwife who is passionate about providing exceptional care and creating positive experiences for women and families.

Selection Criteria

- Do you have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)? Please attach a copy of your AHPRA registration in your application
- Provide an example of a time when you identified a concern during anantenatal or postnatal assessment. What actions did you take, and what was the outcome for the woman and/or baby?
What does woman-centred care mean to you, and how have you incorporated this approach into your midwifery practice when supporting women and families from diverse backgrounds?
