Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is recruiting for a Radiographer Level 6 to complement and enhance the current team.

What you'll be doing
Manage and co-ordinate the operations of the Medical Imaging Department, to enable staff to deliver efficient, high quality and safe imaging services to patients of the SWSLHD.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Current National Registration with AHPRA, NSW Radiation License and Bachelor in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent. Previous demonstrated clinical knowledge across a broad range of imaging modalities.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and succinct plans, strategies, briefs and reports.
  3. Demonstrated experience in providing leadership and people management, including recruitment of staff, mentoring, performance management and developing the capabilities of the imaging team to undertake changing roles and responsibilities.
  4. Demonstrated management experience including complaints management, equipment procurement and financial control.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge and ability in the use of IT software related to imaging and health management.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to personal Continual Professional Development as well as developing the leadership and clinical skills of team members.
  7. Demonstrated excellent organisational skills with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task and achieve business goals.
  8. Knowledge of and commitment to clinical safety, quality improvement and accreditation systems.
