  1. Good computer literacy particularly word processing skills and data entry skills
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on high-quality customer service
  3. Ability to function in a multidisciplinary team setting and also work independently with minimal supervision as required
  4. Experience in general clerical and reception duties, including telephone skills and filing
  5. Ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting demands and prioritising workload
  6. Knowledge of hospital and health care computer systems with demonstrated experience in electronic scheduling of appointment
  7. Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality and privacy of patient information
