Achieve Something Great 
Step into the role of Waitlist Supervisor and support a busy, growing Theatre Department at Campbelltown Hospital, helping to enhance the management of booked patients, strengthen waitlist practices, and contribute to ongoing service improvement across SWSLHD. 

  • Support the Admissions and Surgical Bookings Manager while providing leadership to the Booking Office 
  • Work with multidisciplinary theatre teams and district stakeholders on waitlist requirements and KPIs 
  • Lead staff through change management to drive quality improvement and departmental efficiency 
  • Develop and maintain MoH‑aligned booked‑patient and waiting‑time management practices 
  • Monitor and audit elective surgery registrations to ensure accuracy, compliance and high‑quality processes 
     
 

Are You the Right Fit? 
We’re seeking someone who brings strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the capability to support both staff and patients in a fast‑paced, Monday–Friday operational setting within an expanding theatre service. 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Effective conflict‑resolution capability 
  • Advanced computer proficiency across relevant systems 
  • Sound knowledge of MoH Waitlist policies and elective surgery requirements 
 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Proven high level computer literacy including use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing software and experience with waitlist and PAS system.
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively and medical officers, managers, and staff, with ability to work in multidisciplinary team environment and under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing the scheduling of surgical and diagnostic procedures and strong aptitude for data audit, abstraction, and classification tasks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of policies and procedures from the NSW Ministry of Health relating to waitlist management, and the ability to apply this knowledge to problem-solving and decision-making in a busy and demanding environment.
