Join the Day Surgery Unit within Perioperative Services and be the welcoming first point of contact for patients and families, helping create a warm, safe and professional environment. As an Administration Officer Level 2, you will support smooth patient flow, provide timely front‑line administrative services, and assist with clerical duties including revenue and billing reconciliation.
- Be the first point of contact, providing a welcoming, professional experience for patients and families
- Help create a warm, supportive and safe environment within the Day Surgery Unit
- Contribute to efficient patient flow and high‑quality care across the surgical journey
- Provide timely administrative support to patients, staff and visitors within the Operating Suite
- Assist with clerical tasks including revenue and billing reconciliation for patient admissions

Selection Criteria

- Describe a time when you were the first point of contact for patients or customers. How did you ensure your interaction was welcoming, professional and supportive, particularly in a busy or sensitive environment?
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and under minimal supervision.
- This role requires accurate documentation, patient record management and clerical tasks such as billing reconciliation. Tell us about a time you had to complete detailed administrative work with a high degree of accuracy. What steps did you take to avoid errors?
- Tell us about a situation where you had to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, carers and clinical staff. How did you adapt your communication style to meet the needs of different people?
Demonstrated experience in usinq and workinq with medical terminology.
