Join Liverpool Hospital as a Telephonist and play an essential role in supporting patient care and hospital operations. As the first point of contact for many callers, you will help ensure clear, timely communication across a busy hospital environment while contributing to a service that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Contribute to the frontline service by providing clear, timely and professional communication for patients, families and staff.
- Develop and apply strong communication and organisational skills in a fast-paced, supportive healthcare environment.
- Be part of a collaborative switchboard team delivering a 24/7 service that supports critical hospital operations, including emergency responses.
- Build capability in managing multiple communication channels, including telephony systems, paging and two-way radio coordination.
- Work within South Western Sydney Local Health District, a diverse and inclusive team committed to delivering high-quality care and community-focused services.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
- Active listening and clear communication skills, with a calm and courteous approach.

- Confident using computer systems and working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with flexibility to participate in a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
