  • You will be a key point of contact for patients, carers and staff, helping coordinate appointments and communications in a sensitive and professional manner.  
  • You’ll work as part of a collaborative, caring team where your contribution directly supports patient experience and service delivery. 
 

Are You the Right Fit? 
The ideal candidate will demonstrate: 

  • Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role, ideally within a healthcare or clinical setting. 
  • Strong organisational skills, including diary coordination, meeting preparation, minute taking and follow‑up. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner, ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and methodical information gathering as well as the ability to work independently while supporting a busy team. 
 

Selection Criteria

  1. Please describe your experience providing secretarial or administrative support in a healthcare or similar environment.
  2. Include examples of your experience with diary management, document preparation, typing (including medical terminology if applicable), and how you prioritise competing tasks.
  3. Provide an example of how you have demonstrated strong communication and organisational skills in a busy work setting.
  4. Outline how you manage enquiries, difficult conversations with grieving families, maintain confidentiality, and work independently while supporting a team.
