About the Opportunity
Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals are seeking a permanent full time Physiotherapist Level 4 Clinical Educator in Rehabilitation.

The position will be based at Camden Hospital, with a clinical caseload across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. 

The Clinical Educator will:

  • ​​​​​​​Be responsible for leading and coordinating student clinical placements across the department, as well as directly facilitating student placements in rehabilitation.
  • Have a broad breadth of clinical knowledge and expertise and be required to carry a clinical caseload in rehabilitation. They will provide consultancy to the wider department and interdisciplinary teams on novel or complex physiotherapy presentations.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training, workforce planning, service evaluation and quality activities within the rehabilitation team.

What You'll be Doing
The Clinical Educator Physiotherapist is responsible for education and training initiatives within the Rehabilitation physiotherapy team and supports the wider physiotherapy department in education and training and student placement activities.  This includes coordination, facilitation and evaluation of student clinical placements, liaison with district and university partners, as well as coordinating and supporting wider department education and training opportunities.

  1. Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  4. How do you facilitate students to implement evidence-based practice in their placements?
  5. Please provide examples of how you have developed networks with key stakeholders in supporting clinical placements.
  6. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
