About the Service
Join Our Team as a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse - Helping Patients Rebuild Their Lives Are you passionate about guiding patients through recovery and rehabilitation to regain their independence? 

At Goulburn Base Hospital, our Rehabilitation Ward nurses provide comprehensive care to patients requiring rehabilitation. You’ll work closely with rehabilitation physicians and allied health teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes and comfort. Goulburn Base Hospital will be establishing a primary stroke centre, with a rehabilitation stroke service attached to the rehabilitation ward.

Rehabilitation ward registered nurses will be provided with training where necessary to upskill in stroke management. Join us and be a vital part of delivering exceptional rehabilitation care that truly makes a difference in rural health.

What you'll be doing
The Registered Nurse using best practice evidence delivers person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team. Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people focused quality care. 


Selection Criteria

  1. Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with evidence of recent clinical experience and skills in relation to the position, and a strong commitment to maintaining professional competence.
  2. Demonstrated effective professional verbal and written communication within a diverse multidisciplinary team.
