Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Visiting Medical Officer in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The primary purpose of the role of Visiting Medical Officer in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is to provide high quality diagnostic, consultative and surgical specialty services in Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Department and RPAH as required.
The appointee to this position will be a specialist medical practitioner holding FRANZCOG, with subspecialty certification in REI (or progressing toward this) and have appropriate medical and surgical expertise and experience to provide clinical services in reproductive endocrinology, infertility (including assisted conception) and fertility preservation.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) with either subspecialist Certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), or having been selected by the RANZCOG National subspecialty selection process for CREI training.
Position is currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from the beginning of the 2026 Clinical Year on 2 February 2026, may be considered.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
