An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic leader with a strong interest in and commitment to customer service and strong performance to join the very experienced and dedicated Outpatient Services Unit Team. This role will lead and manage a team of administration officers for Outpatient Services across the campus and works closely with the Nurse Unit Manager.

Where you'll be working
Outpatient Services Unit for Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.

What you'll be doing
Leading a group of administration staff for the Outpatient Services Unit (OSU) for Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. This is an administrative role within the OSU to provide efficient administrative and leadership to support the services at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. This role will be responsible for the effective running of the services in conjunction with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Executive Management responsible for Outpatient Services. The role is to ensure that a high level of reception, administrative and customer support is being provided for the daily operational needs of the OSU with a professional, positive image for HKH that enhances patient experience and their journey within the service.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Ability to manage physical and financial resources to ensure the delivery of services or the successful completion of a project.
  2. Demonstrated ability in decision making across a number of areas and review of operational systems.
  3. Independent action may be exercised within constraints set by senior management. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
  4. Ability to provide clinical supervision, support and management for relevant staff.
