About the Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. 
 
This role assists new staff and graduate nurses rotating through Anaesthetics, playing a crucial part in upholding education and training standards. 

The aim of the position is to use a participation methodology to build:

  • The capacity of individuals to deliver safe, evidenced based care, incorporating reflective practice with the aim of continual improvement.
  • A patient and family focused culture that supports the NUM and staff to deliver innovative models of care and proactively manage change.
  • The position contributes to the overall improvement of health service delivery.

    Ideal Candidate
    • Current nursing registration with AHPRA and relevant post registration experience in the specialty. 
    • Certificate IV in Education is mandatory and Masters in Education is desired. 
    • Experience in aesthetics also required.
