Selection Criteria:
- Hold as a minimum a bachelor's degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Understanding of both the Mental Health and Guardianship Acts and their applicability to this role
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective and a broad range of Social Worker interventions within an inpatient setting
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of recovery focused care and principles within an inpatient mental health setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated skills in computer literacy
- Current NSW Drivers License
