Selection Criteria

  1. Hold as a minimum a bachelor's degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
  2. Understanding of both the Mental Health and Guardianship Acts and their applicability to this role
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide effective and a broad range of Social Worker interventions within an inpatient setting
  4. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  5. Understanding of recovery focused care and principles within an inpatient mental health setting.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  7. Demonstrated skills in computer literacy
  8. Current NSW Drivers License
