What You'll Be Doing:
The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is ‘exceptional care, healthier lives’. The Telecommunications Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Switchboard and Telecommunication Services, incorporating PABX/VoIP/Spectralink telephone services, MIE (Message Integration Engine) and Paging services and emergency communication. The role provides leadership and support to Switchboard operators, including general telecommunication policies and procedures development, and training.

Selection Criteria:
- Relevant qualification and/or experience in a Supervisor/Team Leader role.
- Relevant qualification and/or experience with Telecommunications technology.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a busy Switchboard environment.
- Ability to carry out and assist in developing emergency/disaster procedures.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to work a 24 hour rotating roster undertake on call responsibilities.
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence (and a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
