Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high calibre administrative support to senior executive in a large and complex organisation
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to anticipate and meet the needs of the General Manager, The Sutherland Hospital
- High level of oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills and strong customer service focus
- Demonstrated ability to perform a range of management and administrative tasks, monitoring and managing work priorities to enable adjustments to workflow as required while working independently or as part of a team
- Proven experience in administering senior level committees, including but not limited to preparation and distribution of agendas, minute taking and follow up of actions
- Proven ability to problem solve, prioritise workload with competing priorities and meeting of deadlines
- Ability to handle controversial and emotive issues/information confidently and confidentially
- High-level information technology and systems skills, including records management and reporting processes, office systems, word processing and spreadsheet packages (Word, Outlook, Staff Link, TRIM, Sharepoint and HCM ROB)
