The Role

The Administrative Officer, Clinical Research Unit, Cancer Care Centre, St George Hospital, provides a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Clinical Research Unit achieve its objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

Selection Criteria

  1. Previous experience in an office administrative role or reception role.
  2. Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, monitoring and determining work priorities to enable adjustments to workflow as required.
  3. Experience in responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
  5. High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office and/or NSW health platforms, such as SARA, Health Roster, iprocurement, Stafflink oracle, AFM, iPM
  7. Demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork with an ability to work independently.
  8. Demonstrated initiative in delivering an administrative service and the ability to problem solve.
