About the Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
The Clinical Support Officer (CSO) plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of wards and units by delivering timely and accurate administrative services that assist the healthcare team in providing quality patient care. Assisting NUMs with rostering, payroll, recruitment and reporting. The CSO will support patient care through accurate data entry and reporting as well as managing ward stock, equipment and maintenance coordination for the ward.

Ideal Candidate
- Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Capacity to work under broad supervision, working independently to undertake a diverse range of tasks.
- Computer literacy with advanced knowledge and practical skills with computer and internet-based software, with high level of accuracy in word processing, data entry, and minute taking skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills, and ability to prioritise tasks.
