Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.

1. Eligible for medical registration in Australia and hold Fellowship of RACP or ACEM or equivalent, AND - Completion of Paediatric Emergency Medicine training accredited by RACP or ACEM, or equivalent.
2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a senior clinician in the care of critically ill children.
3. Current APLS Certificate or equivalent, or an active Instructor with APLS or equivalent.
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
5. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
6. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
7. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
