What you'll be doing
The Senior Research Administration Officer is responsible for managing a broad range of administrative functions for the Gene Therapy Research Unit (GTRU) including assistance to the Head of Department, Grants Administration, Intellectual Property (IP) and Commercialization, establishment and administration of research agreements, records management and secretariat duties within the unit. 

The Senior Research Administration Officer will report to the Head, Gene Therapy Research Unit and work closely with Senior Laboratory Researchers to ensure the timely, efficient and effective operation of key functions within the Gene Therapy Research Unit. 

The Senior Research Administration Officer will require significant high-level experience in supporting and managing corporate functions, preferably in an academic or health setting. The position will also play an important role in planning, development and implementation of systems and process improvement within the Gene Therapy Research Unit (The Unit).
