What you'll be doing
 

The SCHN – Lead Pharmacist Intensive Care position provides high level, evidence based, tertiary clinical pharmacy services to patients and families within the intensive care service. 
  
This position involves comprehensive pharmaceutical care delivery, clinical pharmacy services, medication management, and working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with paediatric patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide specialised pharmaceutical care tailored to the unique needs of critically ill children. 
  
This position will supervise and lead education and research activities in paediatric pharmacy training programs to improve pharmacy services capability in Intensive Care.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has current AHPRA and recent, extensive clinical experience as a hospital pharmacist in a paediatric ICU or neonatal ICU.
  • Demonstrates high level specialised knowledge and skills of drug use in paediatric patients in ICU setting including organ support, dose optimisation and drug selection.
