What you'll be doing
The SCHN ICT Category Manager is responsible for the Digital Health Procurement & Contract Management for operations and for projects, the effective influencing of stakeholders across SCHN and management of supplier relationships within the ICT categories. This includes:
- Overseeing and coordinating supplier engagement and management processes related to vendor contracts to achieve the best value for money outcomes and negotiate statewide agreements.
- The identification, development, approval, implementation and reporting of ICT commercial and procurement strategies aimed to achieve the best value for money outcomes for SCHN.
- Working collaboratively with eHealth NSW and HealthShare to ensure compliance under the statewide ICT Services prequalification Scheme and associated procurement policies and procedures.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a degree in a relevant field, or extensive experience and a record of achievement in ICT procurement and category management of a variety of purchase types including but not limited to Hardware Supply and Installation, Software as a Service, Network/Telecommunications Services, System Development and Implementation in a large and complex service environment. This includes expert knowledge and demonstrates experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and contract management.
- Demonstrates understanding of the NSW Government ICT Services Scheme and ICT Purchasing Framework.
- Demonstrates understanding and experience in contemporary and best-in-class procurement practices, including strategic sourcing and category management, and embedding best practice principles to a public-sector context.
