What you'll be doing
This position is responsible for the provision of accurate, timely and efficient high level administrative and public/customer support to the Billing team/ Pathology departments to achieve divisional outcomes. 

This includes but is not limited to : 
• Taking responsibility for administrative tasks that relate to Pathology billing/revenue, to ensuring optimal billing in a timely and effective manner as well as working closely with Finance/Revenue team to resolve any issues.  
• Providing administrative/customer support with regards to sendaway invoices and addressing general enquires. 
  1. Proven experience in high level Medical administrative services including preparing a wide range of documents and reports.
  2. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply billing policy/ procedures to achieve workflow outcomes. This includes the ability to quickly learn new software skills.
  3. Strong customer service experience and demonstrated use of sound interpersonal, communication, problem solving/conflict resolution skills to achieve positive outcomes.
  4. Proven ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team with minimal supervision.
  5. Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to complete tasks within defined timeframes, escalate appropriately and proven capacity to manage concurrent activities of a diverse nature.
  6. Proven ability to be accountable, proactive and take initiative to improve workflow.
